A really old story...

Okay, hear me out. I wrote this when I first started this blog, when I was an itty bitty nine year old. I was going to make it a series, but I was nine, and lost interest. So, for anyone who happens to stumble by this, I'm sorry, buuuuttt, enjoy!

Warning! if you continue any further you
will experience the end of the world as we
know it. But the world has hope, Hope that
4 children with save them, hope that they
can make a better future, and you have no
idea how powerful hope can be.

Chapter 1

Whelp! If your reading these words your pretty much doomed, but, if you have come this far you might as well see where is all started. Hi, my name is Kristal and me & my friends may have caused the end of the world.

It all started on my 11th birthday, June 21st 2022 also know as the summer solstice or the first day of summer. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, but I have ADHD and I have a hearing aid on my right ear.  I feel like we may have gotten just a little off track so back to the story!

The morning of my birthday I was sitting at the beach drawing a picture of myself but a bit more special. I always wish I can be someone special. on the outside I look like a average girl not including my sparkly indigo hearing aid. I have dark brown hair on the top but it gets lighter to light brown at the very tips, my hair falls to my waist but it is pulled up in a ponytail, there is a purple streak in my hair, I have silver earrings, a blue t-shirt that says "To The Ocean" in white, indigo shorts, a pair of green sandals, and an amber skin color. But inside it is very confusing.
I picked up my things ready to go inside even though I don't really don't want to. Just like I suspected I am greeted calmly by my 4 older siblings and almost crushed by my 4 younger ones. “Guys Stop!” I yelled

Once they finally cleared away I sprinted to my room, wanting to get as far away from my siblings as possible. From the door I could see everything. My room has painted flower decorations, a purple bunk bed, but instead of the lower bunk there is a desk, A book shelf that was actually the staircase of my older sister's and my old bunk bed, A cerulean beanbag under the bed and next to my desk, and my artwork hanging around the room like a banner.

I walked in and placed my bag next to my bed. I looked out the window gazing at the beach, from the hot sand to the sparkling ocean water. Soon my favorite sister, Adhira, walked into my room. “Do you want to go WaveJumping with me and Divya?” she asked, “YES!” I almost yelled. Divya is my other older sister and she’s really good at the game

You might be asking yourself “what’s WaveJumping” well in WaveJumping you have to either jump or swim under a wave but if you don’t do any of those two on time and you get pushed under by the wave, well sorry to say but you are OUT!

My sisters and I changed into our swimsuits and walked to the beach. After a few rounds of WaveJumping (in which I always got out first) my sisters went back inside, tired and dripping with water, but I stayed where I was because I was looking for some sea glass for my collection. After a couple minutes of collecting sea glass, right when I picked the 4th one I thought I saw the tail of a dragon but when I blinked it disappeared, I shrugged thinking that my brain pulled a trick on me and went back to collecting sea glass. After I collected 13 pieces it was starting to get dark so I made my way back home into my snuggly bed

The next day I went for a swim in the ocean. at this time half of the sun was hiding behind the horizon causing the sky to to be an explosion of color, I let all my worries float away in the miniature waves. Just moments after I really settled in, the beautiful sky effect was gone, like the colorful sky kept peace in the world, I heard someone scream. “SHARK!!!” people yelled, I looked around wildly trying to catch a glimpse of the shark that the people were talking about, but when I couldn't find one I looked forward again thinking that this was a trick and found myself face to face with something that definitely wasn’t a shark. “Dragon” I breathed in awe. For the longest time I just stared at the magnificent creature admiring it’s turquoise scales and how they that glittered in the sunlight, it’s elegant ice blue horns, and the spiral pattern decorating the underside of the dragons wings, there were teal scales that formed a dotted line starting from the tip of its snout to the end of its tail, the very same tail I saw yesterday. The dragon had a beautiful mane but instead of hair the mane was made out of flowing water. Suddenly the dragon splashed it’s tail launching me upwards. 13 stars glowed brightly before everything went black.

Wow, you made it this far! that's more than I thought you all would make it. tell me if you want me to continue this story, or rewrite this into something almost twelve year old me would write.

See you later!

Miami trip of 2022

Our Miami trip last year was cancelled so I was even more excited to go this year. On this trip we went to all sorts or cool places such as the design district, where there were so many colorful painting everywhere, bright and festive Ocean drive where we walked a little to much, the salty beach where we walked along the water and who could forget, the pool where we spent so much time at. And a huge plus, other family was there to!

the design district                                                                                                                                               The design district had so many colorful paintings and objects. we saw colorful statues in many shapes and sizes and we also saw a bubble that we could actually walk inside it was called the Fly's Eye Dome! in one shop we saw a banner made out of painted chairs. my favorite part were the couch swings that were attached to vines or maybe my favorite part was the hall of pretty colors that seemed to swirl together, Red, Orange and Yellow. in the design district there was something called the Forest plaza, it contained many giant but colorful statues of people in a pose. The design district really is a colorful place to be.

Ocean drive                                                                                                                                                            Ocean Drive was so Bright and festive, almost every restaurant and shop had lights covering it. on one side of the road were all the shops and restaurants and on the other side were statues covered in lights. the road was blocked of from cars so we were able to walk on the road, but we walked for so long. my little brother was whining a lot. in ocean drive we found a place called sugar factory I wanted to go there so we made plans to go have desert there, but after dinner we all decided that we were to full to eat any more. Ocean Drive is a festive place to go to.

Lincoln Road                                                                                                                                                             Lincoln road is a bustling spot with a lot of restaurants and shops. Sometimes there are street performers but other times, not so much. When I went there, there were no street performers but I still had fun. There is a gelato place called Mammamia that I went to and I really liked it.

The Beach                                                                                                                                                                      The beach was a really fun place to sit back and relax. Plus, the water was colder than it was at the pool so it was usually refreshing to take a dip. There was a lot of seaweed in the water, when I say a lot, I mean A LOT! So I spent a lot of time pushing seaweed away.

The Pool                                                                                                                                                                      We spent A LOT of time at the pool. The water was a little warmer that what I would of liked, but it was a pool. We went to the pool every single day we were at Miami! There were a lot of different pools there, but we just swam in the biggest one.

So, that's it!
