Trip to Outer Banks

 Overview

On our trip to OBX, Outer banks/North Carolina. We spent a lot of time at the beach and the pool. And in our rooms watching TV. so we pretty much could do whatever we wanted. In this post you will find out about how my outer banks trip went, and hopefully, you decide to go to.

Houses

We went with eight other families in two different houses. Four in one house, and five in the other. In my house I slept in a room with two sets of bunk beds. Since I was one of the first people to get there, I claimed my top bunk early on. My friend Meera got my bottom bunk and her little sister got the other beds bottom bunk. My friend Raya, got the other beds top bunk. I don’t think the top bunk was really mine, I only had it to myself when I was sleeping, because the other kids, who didn’t get a top bunk, kept climbing onto my bunk which I found very annoying. My little brother shared a room with Raya’s little brother. We had a heated pool in our backyard with a gate and a walkway directly to the beach. Our house was three floors. The top floor was the dining area, the middle floor was the bedroom area where all the bedrooms were located, and the bottom floor was the fun floor, there was a movie theater, an arcade game with Packman and Galaxia. A pool table and a foosball table. 

Pool

 In the two houses, only the pool in our backyard was heated therefore the people in the other house had to come to ours to swim. Even though our pool was heated it was still very cold. We played games like Marco Polo and Colors. We also liked to just laze around on the two tubes that someone so kindly brought. We would put our bottoms right in front of the whole and fall into the pool for a lazy river ride. 

Beach

Like I mentioned before, the house had a path to go to the beach. It had steps leading upwards and then a little house with four wooden pillars and a triangle roof. Then the steps started to go downwards. In the middle of the week, at around 6:00 PM, two others and I went to the beach and hung around in the warm sand. Unfortunately the water was too cold and we weren’t able to swim in it. Luckily we were able to stand in the waves, but we didn’t do that very often because like I said, the water was very cold. On the last day we were there we all dressed up in a white shirt and jeans to take photos at the beach. 

My Experience

I had a very fun time at Outer Banks, where we could do whatever we wanted (Sort-Of) whether that was spending time at the pool of beach of watching TV with my friends. after reading this I hope you are inspired to gather your friends and go to Outer Banks.
